As part of an effort to gather the many voices that have a stake in Castleton’s revitalization, the City held a series of input sessions for the public on June 18th and 20th. The sessions included a brief presentation about the project and its early findings, as well as informal workshop-style stations where people were encouraged to share ideas about the many different topics associated with the project. Topics covered included: roadway and pedestrian connections, desired amenities, physical improvements, and the development of a recognizable brand and identity for the Castleton area. City staff and planning team members were on site to answer questions, and the meetings were well attended!
The Study is moving into it’s final phase this Fall, when all the data and public input will be drafted into a recommendation for the City to review.
